Gap Year – Nick

Nick fits into the more traditional model of a gap year adventurer. Young, full of beans and with a thirst for knowledge and adventure, Nick wanted maximum impact from his time at Live the Adventure.

For him, this gap year wasn’t about fruit picking in Australia as he saw the sights or sleeping on train station platforms as he navigated his way through Asia, it was about making the most of his ability and developing new skills for the future.

His passion for all aspects of the course, both theory and practical, left him with ‘straight As’ and a glowing addition to his CV.

After leaving the course he took up a job with a tree surgeon (those rope skills coming in handy) and has signed up as a volunteer for a search and rescue team where he lives.
